Product Description:

Doulton Single Countertop Water Filter generates clean water from tap water (chlorinated or non-chlorinated water supplies).

It sits on the counter and connects to the kitchen faucet. This countertop filter will not connect to pull out kitchen faucets.

This system is pre-assembled and it comes with faucet adapter. The system is potable; it can be disconnected and moved to a new location. The system comes with a standard 0.5 micron Carbon Block cartridge 2.5×10” installed.

Filtration Process

The second stage filter cartridge performs a dual purpose.

1. The ceramic outer shell is made from Diatomaceous Earth formed from millions of microscopic silicone shells – compressed to give a 0.5 micron absolute rating to remove the finest sediment, bacteria and parasites. Impregnated with silver ions the ceramic media has enhanced bacteriostatic and self sterilizing properties to inhibit bacteria growth.
2. The carbon block inner core is NSF tested to remove chlorine, chloramines, bad taste and odour to NSF/ANSI 42 and chemicals, pesticides and heavy metals to NSF/ANSI 53.

Carbon filters will remove – by adsorption- chlorine, taste, odor and organic matter. This cartridge will also remove sediments larger than 10 microns. It should be replaced every 6 months
